wow this is belated

...didn't mean for this to be so stagnant!


life has been busy-busy, but i'm alive. my vacation with tavares was wonderful- up until the whole him ending up with swine flu thing. he's doing better though, so yay!

right now my days are concerned with sharpening up my digital skills again, and preparing everything for that final home stretch- my goal is to get accepted to my next institution by the end of this year, and locate the funding to do so. my main goal is LCAD in Cali- it boasts some really extensive programs and the cheapest tuition fare i've seen in the states in a while. not to mention i met one of the lecturers at the art workshop i attended in Dallas, TX this past march.
of course i do have back-up schools- the main ones being ringling and scad- but financially they are way out of pocket for me- unless my portfolio was so great they'd throw a scholarship at me.

of course the govt. has decided to halt their loans program because so many dishonest locals have shirked from their responsibilities to pay back the money. this really sucks for a lot of persons who were really counting on these loans for this fall semester- they literally JUST announced their decision like last week, which is very unfair and irresponsible. so now my funding must rely on the 'charity of others' to supplement what my parents can afford.

well, wish me luck. i'll need it.
